An enema colon cleanse is a procedure some people decide upon for the purposes of cleaning out their colon. The colon is an organ that stores fecal waste and over time can become packed with leftover materials. For this you will need to brew one tablespoon of coffee in a pint of hot water. Allow this to cool before pouring it into the bag or administering the enema.

Either lie on your side with your knees bent, or get on your elbows in the knee to chest position. Another tip that will help you is to stay relaxed. By relaxing the muscles around your anus and bowels you will more easily be able to insert and administer the enema you've chosen for cleansing.

When doing your enema colon cleanse, gently and slowly squeeze the bag after insertion until empty. Remain in your chosen position for a few minutes, then move to the toilet to expel the enema liquid. That's all there is to it. Once you've done this procedure a few times it will become more comfortable and easier. You don't want to overdo it however, and always speak to your doctor before attempting any colon cleansing regimen including a home enema.
